The borefest
It's just 70 minutes long but it seems like 3 hours. Dreadfully boring. Avoid.
More like humdrum
THE HUM is supposedly an indie thriller detailing the plight of a man whose life is assailed by a constant humming noise in his ears which quickly affects his day to day life. Nobody else can hear said noise, which begs the question as to whether he's imagining it or not. The truth is you won't care because this is a typically bad independent picture with little in the way of life, talent, or energy. The dull characters wander around their dull locations and converse a lot while very little actually happens. The attempts at mystery-building don't really work leaving this a bore.
