A Modern Filipino Classic
"How to be Yours" is about two people who fall in love and must choose between love or career. If you thought that this film is your usual Filipino romantic movie, then your very wrong. It's a rare Filipino movie. The concept tackles the modern relationship struggling for a better future. It is very realistic and moving at best! I feel and sympathize with the two characters. I have nothing to say about this film. Even the ending of this film. It's not an obligatory ending for me. It's justified and it deserves a happy ending. Both Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo are great (along with the whole cast) and has a good chemistry. A great direction from Direk Dan Villegas, he deserve to win or nominated for an award for this film. I love this film and this one of my favorite film of 2016. "How to be Yours" is a modern Filipino classic. It deserves to have a cult following as years go by. This film is worth a recommendation!
