Cute Little Buggers (2017) Reviews

  • Wonderfully weird British sense of gory fun

A great little movie that will leave you in a good mood after watching it.The CGI bunnies were cutely bad and deliberately so,the acting was hilariously over the top British and there is plenty of what we Aussies and Brits love, babes, boobs, bums, blood and laughter. Not really anything else I can ,or want to add except, watch it,you won't regret it.

  • Great fun, semi-naked ladies and killer bunnies... Cool!

The good thing about this B-movie is it had a little horror and gore, an actual story and a few topless moments for the younger viewers I guess. The bad, the cgi could have been better. Overall, It was not obsessed with having topless women running around thankfully. It had a story which in parts was quite funny and the acting was very good for this type of movie, the photography was good too and very professional. I have seen so much rubbish lately that this was a relief to watch and unlike most movies nowdays it actually got me to laugh out loud, so no matter what other people might have issues with, for me this was definitely an 8 and I look forward to seeing what other movies they have made.

  • Incredibly lame

I had been waiting for this movie for a long time, it had been in limbo for a while, but the things I read about it (I stopped watching trailers a few years ago, they spoil too much nowadays, and I also avoid movie stills most of the time for the same reason) made me think it would at least be mildly entertaining. Boy was I wrong. The first thing you'll notice are the special effects. The CGI is some of the worst I've ever seen, and I'm talking MS Paint quality level here. The aliens's masks are pathetic (and worse yet are their -I'm guessing CG- tongs). There are hardly any practical effects and they are are quite bad. The dubbing is awful and the acting isn't all that great either. The humor is quite ineffective, pretty much all of the jokes fall flat, at most you'll smirk or chuckle slightly once or twice. The actors's accents didn't do it any favors either. Pretty much the movie's only redeeming feature are a couple of moderately decent breasts. Definitely NOT recommended. PS: in case you care, there are two scenes after the credits start rolling.

  • So much fun

These people know how to make a low budget movie correctly! Funny, campy, the right bit of blood and guts. They spent their money on the right FX and went for the cheese factor. Who doesn't love aliens who want women for breeders and killer bunnies! Two paws up and an 8 carrot rating.

  • JUST DON'T, unless you really want to say: "why?"

Whoever stated that this was worth the watch was paid to do so or worked for the production crew or was/is related to someone involved in the movie. I thought I'd give this a try based of some of those reviews and to say I was disappointed could be the understatement of the year for me. Seriously, Monty Python made movies on smaller budgets than this and they WERE funny. This one is NOT. It may have made an attempt to be funny, cheesy or possibly 'cultish' but it failed on EVERY count. I couldn't make it to the end, I had an appointment with a neurosurgeon who I hoped would be able to remove the section of my memory that this was housed in, frankly I would have been happy to have been lobotomized if it meant that I could unsee this. In its defense, there were some great camera shots, probably a creative cameraman that was able to pull it off before the director stopped them and put them back on to the crappy camera shots that they wanted. The sets consisted of one of the producers friends that let them use a corner of his/her farm. Along with some old barns, the edges of some fields and the inevitable surrounding woodlands. The special effects, although a good effort was made, were basically dreadful. The alien ship; so-so, the 'creatures' (rabbits) were superimposed and often didn't display the correct geometry for the movements and surroundings and the alien 'effects' part was a rip-off of so many other movies that it really is beginning to get tired. The alien ship interior overlaid effects actually seemed pretty good but too many bad effects overshadowed the good! Synopsis: easily THE worst sci-fi that probably wasn't intended to be as cheesy but everybody said it was so they probably ran with it. It doesn't even rank in the top one billion low budget movies in my opinion and could easily qualify for the top 100 worst movies ever made that should be ritually destroyed for the sake of humanity.
