It could be better
First of all The Sky of My Childhood is about a politician who is still in office which makes people expect to see scenes about how he is doing politics but there is only scenes about his childhood and youth ages which is not that exciting. Acting was not bad but the tragic scenes could be more sentimental with right expressions of Nursultan or attitude of his father and behaviors of his mother. There could be more scenes which introduces Kazakhstan for people like me who wants to know more about Asian countries. I hope to see more Kazakhstan movies. My vote is 6 out of 10.
