Archa pro Vojtu (2000) Reviews
Really moving
This is one of my favourite films. You can find it not as good as many other films listed here on IMDb. Its strength is in use of mentally disabled boy as one of the main characters. Archa pro Vojtu tells story of a family with such boy (Vojta, about 8 years old) and older girl (Anna, 12). They have moved to a small town, where everybody soon realises that Vojta is not normal. Anna has lots of problems with her teacher and her classmates because of that. But she loves Vojta and doesn't want to give up. Her family is not usual, but she decides she likes it that way. Because of the disabled actor, all main characters have same names as the actors. The film works also with music, choreography, dreamy scenes, pictures... It is worth seeing, if only to realise you don't like such films.
