ANDHRUDU is a solid action entertainer. It's an old movie, but has a lot of great things to enjoy: great action, solid performances, hilarious comedy and an emotionally charged narrative. Despite of the A certificate it received for the violence, this is a family themed action movie. It's a powerful mass flick. All it intends to do is entertain, and it succeeds in doing that. Gopichand has once again proven himself to be the true action star. The cast has done an excellent job. Music is good. Technically, it's a good film. But what makes it even more entertaining is the action. All the fight sequences have been shot and executed very well. There is a massy feel to all of them and a viewer willing to be entertained can definitely have fun. The screenplay is definitely impressive and so is the sharp editing. ANDHRUDU also honors the strength of friendship, which is just another feather in its cap.
