8 is the story about a soul and its incomplete journey. Murli (Sameer Dattani) plays a musician facing a creative block hence he enlists himself on a week-long vacationing trip to an old fort converted into a resort in Rajasthan. On the trip he meets Sanjana (Sheena Nyar) who has been abandoned by her boyfriend who she planned to elope with. Murli takes an instant liking for her. But soon their budding romance is hindered by a series of mysterious deaths, a freak accident which brings about a twist in the tale. Then, Murli finds out that Sheena has a connection with each of these incidents especially when a dying man addresses her as Mallika. So who is Mallika? And who is Sanjana? Why are these people getting killed? Who will eventually survive? Murli and Sanjana together lead their co-vacationers in this thrilling supernatural journey which will reveal enough to shatter all conventional beliefs.
